Hi there. Hope you are having a wonderful holiday and not back at work yet. It seems most people are at least off work until January 2nd. (I’m off until the 6th.) And I understand that the majority of people who were without power in Toronto and surrounding areas now have it restored. So glad to hear it.
I absolutely love what I do but it’s so nice to just “be” and spend time with people you love, watch movies on TV and at the theatre (we enjoyed both Saving Mr. Banks and the Book Thief recently), play games like Just Dance 14 on the wii (dancing to “Applause” a few times will burn 100’s of calories, I promise. It’s my latest addiction!) and visiting Ripley’s Aquarium (don’t go on a weekend, get there when it opens and purchase your tickets ahead online. Just some tips as it is a very popular spot and was ridiculously crowded yesterday.) Follow me on Instagram to see up-to-date photos (I try to post a photo a day) like this one of my family (minus my sister who was taking the photo and my Dad’s partner who was spending Christmas day with her family.)
God, I love these peeps – each and every one! (This is my side of the family – Rick’s family are all in the US.) And yes, we were all wearing shades of blue coincidentally. PS, I don’t think I have ever showed you my entire family room (just the mantel side) so I must have it photographed in the New Year to share sources.
Okay, enough of me! I hope you have a wonderful New Year’s spent with special people.
This cocktail sounds divine. Must make it but less heavy on the champagne and more on the juices. (All images via Pinterest.)
Happy New Year’s sweet friends. Wishing you nothing but good things (maybe a home that makes you happy?) in 2014. I’ll be back on Wednesday with a wrap up/looking forward sort of post. See you then! And don’t forget to follow me on Bloglovin’ here (or other reader) so you don’t miss a post. I have lots to share soon!
