Seven Things That Make Me (Decor) Happy with Kirsten Krason

Happy Thursday! I realize I haven’t done a “Seven Things” post in awhile.  I am thrilled to share with you another talented designer/blogger who will be sharing seven decor finds that make her (or her clients) happy.

I’m sure you all know Kirsten Krason from her popular blog, 6th Street Design School and her professional website House of Jade Interiors with her business partner, Erin Morgan. You should also be following them on Instagram, as they share pretty photos from their recent projects.

So, without further ado, here is Kirsten with her favourite decor finds and with photos from her portfolio:

First of all, thank you Vanessa for having me on your blog today!

1) The Stella floor lamp is a favorite that we use over and over for clients! It’s a great price and comes in multiple colors.

2) The Josephine desk is also well-priced and its simple shape makes it a classic!

3) It’s always fun to bring in natural elements and these Moroccan Geodes do just that. They have the perfect amount of sparkle too!

4) It feels like every room always needs a little fiddle leaf fig somewhere in the corner. I just can’t get over my love for them!

5) Finding perfect accessories can be hard so we often stick with a few essentials. We love succulents and we love coral! The natural textures do a lot for a space.

6) Woven baskets are everywhere these days and are not only functional but stylish as well. We find great ones at Home Goods (or HomeSense in Canada), Target (sadly soon to be gone from Canada) and even online at places like Serena and Lily and Land of Nod. They look good in a corner, next to a table or even next to a chair!

7) In each space we design, we look for an opportunity to use statement pieces of art – something eye catching and beautiful. We love Minted for great and affordable art options.
