Hi there,
Welcome to Week 4 of the One Room Challenge. I’m renovating my daughter’s bathroom and documenting the process in six blog posts over five weeks. You can catch up on the before photos and the design concept here:
This is a very short post as it’s been a slow go around here with not too much happening. But I did get some deliveries like my Delta Trinsic faucet and tub and shower trim in champagne bronze. So pretty, right?
There was a bit of a delay with a missing part (bath waste assembly) which pushed everything back a week but it arrived and the tub and shower rough in was installed just this past Friday. Yay. Progress. The photo below shows the state of the bathroom now. This is real time renovating!
Also, the marble basket weave floor tiles and fish scale tiles for the tub surround arrived from JeffreyCourt. Cannot wait to see this installed! My contractor will be working around the clock to ensure everything is done this week. Fingers crossed.
The custom shower curtain arrived from Tonic Living and it is stunning. Think I may go with this blue colour from Benjamin Moore (2129-70) for the walls. It’s light and fresh yet will add a bit more interest than white walls.
That’s all I have for you this week! I have completed seven ORC’s successfully and on time so I’m hoping that will be the case with this reno. It’s all up to my contractor!
You can read the posts of the 20 featured bloggers here and the rest of the guest participants here. From what I have seen, there are some beautiful spaces being created.
And as always, thank you for following along and leaving a comment.

April 29, 2018All very pretty. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a basketweave tile like that and I really like it.

April 30, 2018Thanks Mary. I know, it’s a little different and that’s why I was drawn to it.
