BlogTour Las Vegas 2014

Hey there! I’m back again this week. Shocking I know! I’m so excited to finally share what I alluded to in a previous post.  I’m invited to go to Las Vegas from Feb 2-6 as part of a BlogTour with 14 other fab interior designers and bloggers. How cool is that? And I have never been to Vegas, so doubly excited.

The BlogTour concept is the brainchild of Veronika Miller of Modenus. Her goal is to select design bloggers for various tours to attend trade shows, showrooms and events and learn about and share knowledge of various brands. Past tours have been to London (England, not Ontario!), Cologne and New Orleans to mention just a few.  They are also heading to Milan and Paris this year as well. (Pick me, pick me!)

So the old adage of  “What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas” doesn’t apply here.  Our focus is to spread the word about the amazing sponsors and whatever else inspires us through our social media channels.
We will be reporting back on new products at the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS) part of the inaugural Design & Construction Week. And we will also be on a panel to judge the KBIS awards and the first Booth Innovation Award.

And to top it all off, we will be a part of the inaugural Modenus Talks which Veronika Miller describes as “speed dating for knowledge as it brings manufacturers, designers, media and other industry professionals together for an afternoon of unplugged round table conversations about design business, design ideas and design technologies.” Exciting!

Some of the brands I have heard of and used in projects and others are new to me so I am looking forward to hearing more about them.
