Welcome to my new site. Things may look a little different (hopefully better!) around here. If you recall, I had my blog Decor Happy on the Blogger site and my website was separate so you had to click back and forth from one to the other. Now, everything is in one spot and I’m now using the WordPress platform, which people had been telling me to switch to for years. My old blog did serve me well for five years but it was time for a change.
I didn’t want to lose the name Decor Happy as I think it really describes what I try to accomplish as an interior decorator. I want your home to make you happy! Simple as that. Therefore, you will see my business name and my blog name as the header.
I worked with Brittany Douglas on the new look of the site. If you are looking to create a site (and if you are a designer/decorator you definitely should have one) or revamp what you already have, contact Brittany. She was a joy to work with!
The Portfolio and Press tabs have also been revamped and there is a slideshow of my home.
Let me know your thoughts and if things look a bit odd when viewing on your desktop, phone or tablet. You do have to view the site in landscape mode on a tablet/ipad to see everything. Who knew?
Please feel free to browse around. There are a few things that need to be fixed up and I will eventually categorize all of my posts to make it easy for you (and me) to find things and navigate through.
