Design consultations are an area of specialty for Vanessa Francis Interior Design, having completed more than 400 of them to date. During a two-hour in-home design consultation we listen carefully to you so that we can learn about what you love, what you don’t, what you need and what matters most. We work together with you to outline the scope of your project to help determine if your intended budget is in line with your wish list. We ask clients to prepare a list of design questions to ensure we use the time wisely. You’ll come away from the session with answers to design questions, solutions to design dilemmas, and expert advice on space planning, finishes and design direction. You’ll also learn more about our process and how we work. For some clients, the design consultation provides them with the information and confidence they need to continue their renovation or decoration project on their own. 2 hours; $600 CAD + HST (serving Halton, Mississauga and west GTA. If you live outside these areas, we can do the consult via Zoom.)

Renovating a kitchen or bathroom involves dozens of decisions, and many of them aren’t easily reversed or corrected if you get them wrong. Our Kitchen and Bathroom Design Support service helps you avoid costly mistakes and get a finished space you love. We guide you through key phases of your renovation, including meeting with the kitchen or bath supplier to review plans, ensuring the proposed layout is efficient, sharing our insights on style choices, and selecting finishes and fixtures. You get 10 to 20 hours of expert guidance, billed at an hourly rate. If you need more comprehensive assistance throughout the entire process of your project, our Full Service Design may be a better option for you.

Full-Service Design means we handle all the details from concept to completion, whether you’re building a new home, undergoing a renovation, or just need to update a single room. The design process can be daunting. You don’t know where to start. You don’t trust your own ability (or have the time) to select the right products and finishes. With Full-Service Design we make the process as easy and enjoyable as possible for you and deliver a finished project that’s nothing short of amazing.
