{"id":1839,"date":"2011-11-04T18:19:00","date_gmt":"2011-11-04T18:19:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vanessafrancis.com\/staging\/sarah-richardson-paint-colours\/"},"modified":"2011-11-04T18:19:00","modified_gmt":"2011-11-04T18:19:00","slug":"sarah-richardson-paint-colours","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vanessafrancis.com\/staging\/2011\/11\/sarah-richardson-paint-colours\/","title":{"rendered":"Sarah Richardson Paint Colours"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Have you been watching the new season of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hgtv.ca\/sarahshouse\/\">Sarah\u2019s House<\/a> on HGTV Canada?&#160;&#160; With a flu bug this week that has knocked me off my feet, I had time to catch up on the first six episodes.&#160; I don\u2019t plan on summarizing each episode as there are a few bloggers doing a brilliant&#160; job of this already.&#160; Instead, I thought I would share some&#160; thoughts and ideas based on the episodes&#160; in a few upcoming posts.<\/p>\n<p>First up, I didn\u2019t realize until recently that the 75 colours in the Sarah Richardson <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sarahrichardsondesign.com\/products\/category\/paint#1\">designer palette for Para<\/a>&#160; are the same as ones already in the fan deck.&#160; My local Para dealer advised that on the back of each of her large paint chips (love the size of these!)&#160; is another number that refers to its original place in the deck.<\/p>\n<p>She chose her favourites from Para\u2019s 2000 colours and had them renamed.&#160; So if you are overwhelmed when looking at the Para fan deck, then maybe the 75 hand picked colours are all you need!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/lh4.ggpht.com\/-oF4KRLbIAec\/TrQsN1jseWI\/AAAAAAAAFOM\/uoc80dwcTPw\/s1600-h\/image7.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"image\" style=\"border-top-width: 0px; display: inline; border-left-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; border-right-width: 0px\" height=\"688\" alt=\"image\" src=\"http:\/\/lh5.ggpht.com\/-z6I-mS7SzM8\/TrQsRPOcrBI\/AAAAAAAAFOU\/MJXGaC601XU\/image_thumb3.png?imgmax=800\" width=\"534\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a> <\/p>\n<p>So Jet-Stream (SR 18) that she used in the family room above is actually Para\u2019s Fan Light Grey (P2103-04).&#160; <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/lh5.ggpht.com\/-zdhvhyeNXTw\/TrQsTqqeVLI\/AAAAAAAAFOc\/qFpAbmhp-S0\/s1600-h\/image12.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"image\" style=\"border-top-width: 0px; display: inline; border-left-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; border-right-width: 0px\" height=\"435\" alt=\"image\" src=\"data:image\/png;base64,iVBORw0KGgoAAAANSUhEUgAAAHoAAAB6CAQAAADaUI9vAAAAi0lEQVR42u3PAQEAAAABIP6fNkQ9qDlUaWlpaWlpaWlpaWlpaWlpaWlpaWlpaWlpaWlpaWlpaWlpaWlpaWlpaWlpaWlpaWlpaWlpaWlpaWlpaWlpaWlpaWlpaWlpaWlpaWlpaWlpaWlpaWlpaWlpaWlpaWlpaWlpaWlpaWlpaWlpaWlpaWlpaWnpFwODAQB7gWIzIgAAAABJRU5ErkJggg==\" data-src=\"http:\/\/lh6.ggpht.com\/-7y2cg4I2j6k\/TrQsWaVwIBI\/AAAAAAAAFOk\/afWjQ6Efl-Y\/image_thumb12.png?imgmax=800\" width=\"644\" border=\"0\" \/><noscript><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"image\" style=\"border-top-width: 0px; display: inline; border-left-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; border-right-width: 0px\" height=\"435\" alt=\"image\" src=\"http:\/\/lh6.ggpht.com\/-7y2cg4I2j6k\/TrQsWaVwIBI\/AAAAAAAAFOk\/afWjQ6Efl-Y\/image_thumb12.png?imgmax=800\" width=\"644\" border=\"0\" \/><\/noscript><\/a> <\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s what was used in this dining room that I blogged about <a href=\"http:\/\/decorhappy.blogspot.com\/2011\/06\/dining-room-before-and-after-classic.html\">here<\/a>.&#160; Great minds think alike! I love this colour.
