It’s the last day of school for two weeks and I’m looking forward to spending time with my girl (and hubby) and time off work.<\/p>\n

Just sharing a little about my new faucet today. It’s the Waterhill chrome two-handle high arc kitchen faucet<\/a> by Moen.<\/p>\n

I knew I wanted a bridge<\/a> faucet because I have always loved the look and how they can add a sense of nostalgia and charm to a kitchen. Bridge faucets have an exposed, elevated cross bar (bridge) between the hot and cold handle. This is a description of the Waterhill from the Moen site:<\/p>\n

\u00a0A key consideration for me was that the faucet had to be less than 11 1\/2″ high as I have shutters on the window and I wanted to still be able to open them. The design of this faucet is brilliant in that the middle piece with the high arc spout is short making it the perfect size for my needs as it didn’t interfere with the shutters. Many bridge faucets have the high arc extending up from the middle piece.<\/p>\n

I love having separate handles for hot and cold as I find it is easier to adjust the temperature. I also find that the chrome finish is so easy to keep clean. I honestly haven’t really polished it since it was installed\u00a0 six weeks ago. I must admit though that I spied the bathroom version of this faucet in polished nickel in a showroom and it was absolutely stunning as well. The kitchen faucet comes in four finishes – chrome, wrought iron (black), oil rubbed bronze and spot resist stainless steel.<\/p>\n

Bridge faucets don’t typically come with a sprayer in the spout so you will need a separate sidespray.<\/p>\n
